We don't have a visitor's book at our holiday home, but in the short time that we have had guests staying at our house, a number of them have taken the trouble to contact us, either by phone, letter or email. Their comments have been very favourable, and a selection are shown below:

We were really impressed with Louth. Lots of lovely little shops which have been lost in most small towns. Being so central was excellent because we could walk everywhere. The Wheatsheaf was our favourite pub (for the beer) and the Mason's Arms came a close second (lovely Sunday lunch and an entertaining Quiz and Fancy Dress night for charity).

We enjoyed your favourite walk and played Poohsticks off one of the bridges on the way back.

In addition to the above-mentioned adventures we also visited Mablethorpe/Sutton-on-Sea and went up to Applebys' for ice creams. We also came away from Louth with a whole turkey and ham pie and a beef fillet joint from Lakings for Christmas. All in all a great success. Thank you for having a lovely little house in such a lovely area. We will surely be in touch to rent it again sometime, maybe in the Summer."

"I just wanted to let you know how happy we were with the house. It went beyond our expectations from the pictures - it is hard to do justice to how comfortable and welcoming it is from the photos. From the moment we stepped in, with all the lovely touches you have done, we knew that we would be able to just settle down. Our only regret was that we did so many other things that we didn't have enough time in the house.

Plus being in such a perfect position in a lovely town - Louth is about the right size for a place to stay, enough shops and restaurants without being too large. Being able to pop down Pawnshop Passage or the door near the electrical shop when we needed something, wandering through town was great. Hubbards Hills and Westgate Fields - fabulous park to have close by.
